Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: March 30, 2026 · Last updated: July 11, 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) defines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the Reinx platform, including virtual cards, cryptocurrency wallets, APIs, MCP servers, and all related services. This AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violations may result in immediate account suspension, fund freezing, and/or permanent termination.

2. General use requirements

All use of the Reinx platform must:

  • Comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws and regulations
  • Comply with Dakota's terms and the rules of any provider used for the selected wallet, funding, or withdrawal service
  • If virtual cards are activated, comply with the applicable issuing-bank and card-network terms presented before activation
  • Be conducted in good faith for legitimate business purposes
  • Not infringe on the rights of any third party

3. Authorized uses

The Reinx platform is designed for the following authorized purposes:

  • AI agent financial management: Creating and managing wallets for AI agents with appropriate spending controls, budgets, and oversight. Virtual cards may be included only if and when that service is activated.
  • Legitimate business transactions: Paying for SaaS services, API access, advertising, inventory, cloud compute, development tools, and other lawful business expenditures through supported wallet payments or future activated card services.
  • Agent-to-agent payments: Sending and receiving micropayments between AI agents for legitimate services (data, compute, translation, etc.) through crypto wallets.
  • Financial monitoring: Using the dashboard, analytics, and reporting tools to track, analyse, and optimise agent spending.
  • API and MCP integration: Building integrations that connect AI agents to the Reinx platform via our documented APIs and MCP server.

4. Prohibited uses

4.1 Illegal activities

  • Money laundering, structuring, or layering of funds
  • Terrorist financing or support of designated entities
  • Violations of U.S. sanctions (OFAC), export controls, or embargoes
  • Transactions with or for the benefit of persons, entities, or jurisdictions designated on U.S. sanctions lists (including the SDN List, Sectoral Sanctions List, and Non-SDN Lists maintained by OFAC), the Denied Persons List or Entity List maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce, or equivalent lists maintained by the United Nations, European Union, or United Kingdom
  • Tax evasion or fraudulent tax reporting
  • Fraud, theft, identity theft, or impersonation
  • Purchase or sale of illegal goods, services, or contraband
  • Any activity that violates the laws of any applicable jurisdiction

4.2 Restricted merchant categories

The following categories are prohibited on the Reinx platform. This list supplements applicable law and the acceptable-use or prohibited-business rules of Dakota and any provider used for the selected transaction. If virtual cards are activated, the applicable issuer and card-network restrictions will also apply. Reinx may decline activity that violates these combined restrictions.

  • Gambling, betting, lotteries, fantasy sports, and prediction markets
  • Adult entertainment and sexually explicit content
  • Cannabis, marijuana, CBD, and controlled substances (including where state-legal, due to federal banking regulations and card network rules)
  • Tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, and related accessories
  • Firearms, weapons, ammunition, explosives, and related accessories
  • Pharmaceutical products without proper licensing, pseudo-pharmaceuticals, and nutraceuticals making unverified health claims
  • Cryptocurrency exchanges, mixers, tumblers, and unregulated token sales
  • Wire transfers, money orders, stored value cards, prepaid cards, and money transmission services
  • Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes, and matrix programs
  • Counterfeit, unauthorized, or illegally imported goods
  • Bail bonds and surety services
  • Debt collection agencies purchasing debt portfolios
  • Payday lending, high-interest consumer lending, title loans, and credit repair services
  • Unregistered securities, investment contracts, binary options, and contracts for difference
  • Negative option marketing, forced continuity subscriptions, and deceptive free trial offers
  • Telemarketing services (inbound or outbound) without Reinx's prior written approval
  • Timeshare resale, travel clubs, and commercial airline ticket resale
  • Sale of pirated, unlicensed, or unauthorized digital content (software, media, music, films)
  • Get-rich-quick schemes, income opportunity programs making unrealistic earnings claims
  • Products or services that infringe intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Any product or service prohibited by an applicable financial provider, future card issuer or network (if activated), or applicable law

Reinx evaluates available wallet policies and platform restrictions before a payment request can execute. If virtual card services are activated, any card-network merchant controls will be described in the applicable issuing terms. Reinx may decline a request or suspend platform access when activity violates this policy.

4.3 Platform abuse

  • Circumventing or attempting to circumvent spending limits, merchant restrictions, or approval workflows
  • Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions or limits
  • Attempting to extract card credentials (numbers, CVCs, expiration dates) through prompt injection, social engineering, API manipulation, or any other method
  • Attempting to access wallet signing keys or bypass Dakota’s policy engine, signer-group controls, or Reinx’s endorsed-intent signing pipeline
  • Unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, agents, or data
  • Automating account creation or KYC processes without Reinx’s consent
  • Using the platform for load testing, benchmarking, or competitive analysis without written permission
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Services
  • Scraping, crawling, or harvesting platform data through automated means

4.4 Agent-specific prohibitions

  • Configuring agents to attempt to override or circumvent their spending controls
  • Sharing scoped API tokens between agents or exposing tokens in LLM context/memory
  • Deploying agents that intentionally generate false or misleading transaction metadata
  • Using agents to conduct transactions on behalf of undisclosed third parties
  • Operating agents that impersonate humans or other agents
  • Using agents to make purchases on behalf of undisclosed third parties or to resell goods/services purchased through agent cards
  • Configuring agents to make structuring-pattern transactions (multiple small transactions designed to avoid reporting thresholds or approval requirements)
  • Operating agents in a manner that generates excessive chargebacks or disputes (defined as a dispute rate exceeding 1% of total transactions in any rolling 30-day period)

4.5 Network abuse

  • DDoS attacks or intentional overloading of Reinx infrastructure
  • Exceeding API rate limits through evasion techniques
  • Transmitting malware, viruses, or malicious code

6.3 Appeals

If your account is suspended or terminated for an AUP violation, you may appeal by contacting [email protected] with a detailed explanation within thirty (30) days. Reinx will review appeals in good faith but reserves final discretion.
